ERICKA & JORDI

Jordi and Ericka met at Teleferic, Barcelona in the Winter of 2022. Jordi was born and raised in Girona, Spain and moved to Walnut Creek, CA in February 2021 to start his new position as a General Manager. Food and wine is Jordi’s passion, so it was only fitting that he’d move to the United States to work at a Spanish restaurant. In January, Ericka and her family decided to stop by Teleferic, one of their favorite Spanish Tapa bars to enjoy a refreshing glass of their red sangria. Little did they know when they walked in that Jordi would be their server and that they’d have a lot more in common than they thought. Ericka’s parents, Pauline and Darryl lived in Rota, Spain for 6 years while Darryl was stationed there in the Navy, a small military town that Jordi was very familiar with. They spoke about the culture, the beautiful architecture, the amazing food, the hospitality and how much they missed living there. Ericka could tell by the way he was speaking with them that he was a kind and gentle soul. The conversation flowed and Ericka and her parents felt very comfortable around Jordi, as he was extremely personable. Not to mention that Ericka & Jordi couldn’t take their eyes off of each other, as they both felt an instant connection.. When the night was over, Jordi had given Ericka’s dad his number in case he needed any recommendations for their next vacation to Spain. Then Jordi and Ericka exchanged numbers later on. Ericka had no intentions in dating at the time, however, her mom gave her that extra push to give him a chance, as she saw something in Jordi that she hasn’t seen in most young guys in a long time. A few days later, Ericka and Jordi exchanged messages planning their first date, and from there, they were inseparable ever since! 9 months later they got engaged!! All thanks to MOM!! They are now living a beautiful life together in Pleasanton, CA and cannot wait to celebrate their wedding with all of their family & friends.
